Care


Hand wash and wipe clean after each use. Carbon steel will develop a natural patina (oxidation) that helps protect the blade. It may rust if not properly dried. Using a wooden or plastic cutting board will prolong the edge of the blade. Avoid cutting on ceramic, bamboo, glass or stone, and avoid cutting on bones or frozen food.
Use a food grade oil or wax to nourish the wood of the handle as needed. Do not soak or put in the dishwasher. Wash before first use and sharpen as needed.
